I ditto the review of Neil in Morgan Hill of 8/8/13!! It expresses my feelings about this short but rewarding novel, Jack Be Nimble by Ken Solgot, more eloquently than I could ever manage. I would go further, though, in adding that beyond being a tender and romantic gay love adventure story with some very steamy sex, it also has a particularly fine, almost subliminal, gay-positive message that validates the struggles of the more mature audience, myself included, and also serves as a positive role model for the younger audience, which for me made it all the more satisfying. Jack Spencer is, after all, one heck of a sexy and satisfying human, not just gay, role model.It usually takes me a few pages or chapters to really get into a book, but this one (pardon the pun) sucked me in from the get go. The first sentence, to be precise. This was a fun read, an exciting read, an arousing read, a pleasure to read, and a teasing read (what's with Bob Fink, we are left wondering?). For an approximately 150 page story, there is a remarkable amount of character development, some of which teases for future additional information (Bob Fink and more). It leaves me wanting for more, which, since this is the first in a series, would seem to indicate the author has done his job well. As Neil in Morgan Hill said it, and I concur, "I can't wait until the sequel."

A 5-star rating for "Jack Be Nimble" by Ken Solgot. This romantic story of young lovers unfolds in a well written erotic novel. Yes sex is hot and graphic. Ken has done an excellent job of capturing the innocence and erotic nature of young people exploring and learning about sex. The growing multi-cultural relationship developing between Jack and Diego is captivating and I especially love Diego's speaking in a combination of Spanish and English. I can't wait until the sequel.
I recommend this story to readers who like erotica combined with a great innocent, and tender love story. The adventures that Diego, Deigo's cousin and little brother along with Jack and Soph are fun and exciting. You would find yourself wanting to join in as the play and flirt. This appears to be Ken Solgot's first e-book on . If this is a first book, it far exceeds all my expectations.
Personally, I enjoyed this book so much. It is a story that makes me feel good all over and wanting for more. That says a lot when you are a 60-year old gay male. This story made me wish I was an innocent young man once again.
I highly recommend this e-book if you are looking for stories of this type. I have paid far more for e-books that I have enjoyed far less than "Jack be Nimble." There is a lot of entertainment here for the money!

This is clearly a story about gay guys. I am not one but have learn much about the orientation of boys/men.
For me it is a one time read as it it very explicit and once is enough, however those who will, will enjoy the book to it's fullest.
This author is one who has no qualms about sharing their experiences.
